Should I wait to have a closet edit since I plan to lose a few pounds?
You get dressed everyday, why not make those combinations more exciting! Why not make every outfit you put on a favorite, instead of going back to the same three things. Maximize your own wardrobe! And your personal lookbook will help you remember our discoveries!
Where to see some new outfits ideas?
In the meantime check out some fashion ideas on my pinterest page 'Fashion tips for Moms'
I don't want someone in my bedroom?
Just pile your clothes in another room and we can go through them there...or if you have a rack, hang them.
I only want to shop?
Then we can shop but it is always nice to use a few familiar pieces from your closet... and more cost effective too.
You must spend much more on clothes than I do?
I am a devoted sale shopper. I grew up going to Loehmans in Los Angeles and hunting through the racks with my mother and my grandmother, and I terribly miss Filene's Basement! But I still find wonderful pieces at local consignment stores, Runway departments at T.J.Maxx or online. It doesn't have to cost a lot to look great! But a well shaped and constructed piece of clothing can make all the difference.
How long does it take?
It normally takes between 2 and 3 hours per closet. And if the clothes are organized in groups - tops, pants, etc - it can help shorten the timing.
